The ICANN79 Community Forum discussed the progress of various domains within the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) and its activities related to IP addresses.
During ICANN79, convened from March 2nd to 7th in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Armenia’s delegation included Kristina Hakobyan, Board Vice-Chair of the “Internet Society” NGO, along with Board members Siranush Vardanyan, Narine Derdzakyan, and Vesmira Harutyunyan.
Themes addressed at the conference encompassed the stability and security of the global Internet, ICANN’s policy initiatives, and the operational dynamics of the domain name system. The Organization’s main goal of ensuring the Internet’s security, stability, and interoperability was reaffirmed in ICANN79.
