One of Europe’s leading platforms for digital policy and Internet governance, EuroDIG will once again bring together representatives from governments, the technical community, academia, the private sector and civil society to discuss key issues shaping the future of the Internet, digital rights and technological development.
EuroDIG 2026 will take place on May 26-27 in Brussels under the theme: “European Voices for the Future of the Internet – Celebrating 20 Years of .eu and the Beginning of a New Internet Governance Era.” The conference will be hosted by EURid as part of the celebrations marking the 20th anniversary of the .eu domain.
Armenia will be represented at EuroDIG 2026 by the “Internet Society” NGO, the registry operator of the .am and .հայ domain names.
This year’s agenda will focus on the regulation of artificial intelligence, digital sovereignty, cybersecurity, human rights in the digital environment, data protection, media and information security, as well as the technical and infrastructural development of the Internet. The program will also feature the YOUthDIG youth event, thematic workshops and policy-oriented discussions.
Founded in 2008, EuroDIG has grown into one of the most influential multistakeholder dialogue platforms in Europe. Discussions held within the forum often contribute to the broader global Internet governance agenda. EuroDIG is closely connected to the Internet Governance Forum (IGF) process and plays an important role in strengthening cooperation among European countries and organizations.
