To enhance the accessibility of the domain name registration process and expand online access to services, Internet Society NGO has updated the accreditation terms for Registrars.
Hereafter, individuals seeking to become registrars must establish an online system for website and domain name registration and management. This system must allow users to create personal accounts, register and renew domain names, store administrative, technical, and financial data of registrants, and offer additional services.
The changes will come into force on November 7, 2024.
