The 30th anniversary of .am, Armenia’s online address, was celebrated with the expansion of the domain: the number of registrations has surpassed 45,000. Over the past three decades, .am has made significant progress, becoming a key tool in strengthening our country’s presence in the digital world.
Today .am is recognized and widely used in the international market. Over 48% of .am registrations come from various countries, including the USA, China, Russia, and others. This achievement is the result of the efforts of “Internet Society” NGO, where highly skilled and dedicated professionals work to ensure the expansion, stability, and security of .am.
“Today .am is not just a technical concept; it is also a cornerstone of Armenia’s digital development and global positioning. It plays a key role in presenting the country to the international community and strengthening its connections. To maintain this, we must unite our efforts to establish diverse and extensive connections within Armenia,” emphasized Igor Mkrtumyan, Board Chair of the Internet Society NGO.
