The hackathon organized by the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia served as a platform for applying IT knowledge in practice and transforming ideas into tangible projects.
Around 100 students from various educational institutions across Armenia took part in the three-day competition, working in teams to develop creative solutions. Out of 24 participating teams, three were recognized as winners for presenting outstanding projects in the fields of natural disaster forecasting and management technologies, digital image processing, and smart urban development solutions.
The jury, which evaluated the innovative ideas and teamwork of the participants, included Kristina Hakobyan, Vice President of the Board of the Internet Society NGO.
“The student hackathon was not just a competition, but also a platform where ideas were transformed into real solutions. It is inspiring to see how young people combine the knowledge they have gained with creative thinking,” said Kristina Hakobyan. She also emphasized that ISOC Armenia remains committed to supporting initiatives that expand educational and practical opportunities in the IT sector.
