We are pleased to invite representatives of the technical community, students from technology focused educational institutions, and anyone interested in technological innovation to participate in the “Building a Truly Multilingual Internet” conference.
Held on the occasion of UADay2026 and as part of the Universal Acceptance global movement, this conference is being organized for the fourth time by Internet Society NGO (ISOC Armenia) in collaboration with partner organizations.
The conference will showcase and discuss both international and Armenian initiatives and programs aimed at fostering a multilingual Internet, including:
- Policy frameworks and guidelines
- Digital literacy programs
- Initiatives that protect and promote linguistic diversity
The one-day event will feature participation from ISOC Armenia partner organizations from various countries.

As a member of the Universal Acceptance movement, ISOC Armenia works to promote the .հայ domain, make the Internet accessible in Armenian and enrich it with Armenian-language content. Globally, organizations such as UNESCO also focus on developing local language content and preserving cultural heritage. The overarching goal is to ensure that digital technologies serve all communities, regardless of language.
