This year, “Internet Society” NGO and “Internet Society Armenia Chapter” PO are expanding the scope of the annual Regithon, bringing new insights and broader discussions to the forefront.
With the support of the Internet Society Foundation, a one-day conference will be held on June 21 in Yerevan, bringing together local and international IT experts, registrars, and specialists interested in the development of the .am domain. Participants will discuss the potential impact of the draft law on cybersecurity on the .am domain, explore mechanisms for responding to domain abuse and examine international best practices. The event will also cover Web3 development trends, the integration of blockchain technologies within the .am domain and issues related to intellectual property protection.
The event aims to foster collaboration between .am domain registrars and both local and international partners to strengthen digital security and promote innovation.
