The Armenian School on Internet Governance – ArmSIG2025 took place this year in Goris, located in Armenia’s Syunik region, under the theme “Digital Safety from an Early Age.”
Designed to emphasize the importance of protecting children in the digital environment and the need for modern, effective approaches, the event brought together more than 35 library representatives from Meghri, Kapan, Sisian and neighboring communities.
ArmSIG2025 marked the ninth edition of the initiative, organized by the Internet Society Armenia Chapter PO.
“Today’s children are active participants in the digital world, yet often lack the knowledge needed to protect themselves. Our goal is to foster a society that engages with modern technologies safely and is empowered with the right knowledge. Your participation is vital in achieving this,” said Vesmira Harutyunyan, Chair of the Board of the Internet Society Armenia Chapter PO, during her opening remarks.
