August 26: A Titular Day – Celebrating the Birth of .am

31 years ago, on August 26, 1994, Armenia received its country code top-level domain – .am. Since then .am has become and remained an integral part of our digital identity.

Today .am is not only our country’s address on the Internet, but also a mark of credibility and recognition for Armenian businesses and organizations. It represents a deep connection to our culture, language and values.

From the first registered address to tens of thousands of active domains .am has continued to evolve – embracing innovation, reflecting our national identity and serving as an open and accessible digital space. It plays a vital role in strengthening Armenia’s presence in the global digital landscape.

Congratulations to all of us – and especially to those who have contributed to the growth and success of the .am domain.

May the years ahead bring even greater achievements, as .am continues to serve as Armenia’s digital gateway – a lasting symbol of innovation, progress and pride.
