MoU between the IoT Association (Russia) and ISOC AM.
July 18. Yerevan, Armenia. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Internet of Things Association (Russia) and ISOC AM. The parties agreed to collaborate in ensuring development of IoT standards and protocols, share good practices, set up a joint laboratory to practice and test IoT technologies for agriculture, transportation, logistics, municipal and other areas, ensure safety in IoT operations. It was also agreed to organize joint workshops and exchange of experts.
Armenian School on Internet Governance
July 17-21, 2017. Yerevan, Armenia. ISOC AM launched the first Armenian School on Internet Governance (ArmSIG) with more than 30 participants. The main objective of ArmSIG was to involve students from various Universities across Armenia in discussions over Internet governance related issues, to provide them with skills enabling their further effective participation in national, regional and global Internet governance related processes. Well-known and experienced professionals, professors and experts from IT sector were invited to lecture at the school.
At the end of the 5-day free course the participants were awarded with Certificates.

June 26-29, 2017. Johannesburg, South Africa. ISOC AM Board Members Lianna Galstyan and Siranush Vardanyan took part in the ICANN59 meeting.
ISOC AM project awarded a prize of WSIS 2017
June 14, 2017. ISOC AM project "Internet radio for visually impaired people" was awarded the WSIS 2017 prize.
May 25, 2017. ICANN, At-Large Community. ISOC AM Board Member Lianna Galstyan was elected as Vice-Chair at APRALO (Asia-Pacific Regional At-Large Organization).
