ICANN 70 Community Forum was held on 22-25 March in an online format. It featured 71 sessions, 22 Fellows, 1730 people registered and 1537 active participants. ICANN 70 took place in Latin America and the Caribbean timezone. Among the topics discussed were DNSSEC, the Remediating UA issues focusing on the aspects why many people are still excluded from experiencing the full benefits of the Internet and how to advance remediation efforts.
“Internet Society” NGO Board members actively participated in various sessions of the ICANN70.

CENTR Annual General Assembly
The 65th Annual General Assembly of the Council of European National Top-Level Domain Registries (CENTR) was held online.
“Internet Society” NGO Board members Anna Karakhanyan and Igor Mkrtumyan took part in the General Assembly.
The participants discussed the results of 2020, plans and projects for the coming year, and also elected
two new members to the CENTR Board of Directors (BoD): Gilles Massen (Restena Foundation), Director of the Luxembourg ccTLD Registry .LU and Roelof Meijer (SIDN), Director General of the Netherlands ccTLD Registry .NL. They joined Barbara Povše (Register.si), Philip Du Bois (DNS Belgium) and David Fowler (CIRA).
APTLD 79 was held online. It was hosted by Oman Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, in partnership with RIPE NCC.

APRICOT2021 will be held online in partnership with PhNOG (the Philippine Network Operators Group).
The conference also envisages to offer online technical training running from 22-26 February․

Within the framework of APRICOT 2021 meeting, the AP* Retreat meeting took place on February 28, which was attended by about 30 representatives of various organizations within the Asia-Pacific region and provided updates of their activities for the last year.

CENTR 52nd Administrative workshop
“Internet Society” NGO Board members Anna Karakhanyan and Igor Mkrtumyan, took part in the CENTR 52nd Administrative workshop. The representatives of the European ccTLD Registries got together to share the news and discuss issues of ccTLD management.
At the virtual meeting Anna Karakhanyan reported the latest news of the Armenian Registry.
Internet Measurement Day
On February 12, 2021 an online event “Internet Measurement Day” took place.
The event was organized by RIPE NCC and ICANN with the support of the Union of Operators of Armenia, Internet Governance Council, ARMIX Foundation.
The aim of the event was to introduce the RIPE NCC and ICANN internet measurement tools, the expediency and usefulness of their use in Armenia to the Armenian partners.
The target participants of the event were representatives of academic institutions (lecturers, students, researchers), internet providers, telecom companies, ccTLD.
A number of members of the “Internet Society” NGO participated in the online meeting.
The 5th Eastern Europen DNS Forum was held on 18-19 November 2020. The event was organized by ICANN in partnership with Caucasus Online, which was hosting the event virtually. “Internet Society” NGO Board members Anna Karakhanyan, Grigori Sagyan, Igor Mkrtumyan, and organization member Katarina Gevorgyan participated in the EEDNS Forum.
The topics discussed included security, governance, Registry work stability, and more.
The ENOG 17/RIPE NCC Meeting took place online from 9-13 November 2020. The meeting was hosted by the RIPE NCC.
ENOG 17 had 374 attendees checked in online from a total of 48 countries across the ENOG region and beyond. 172 of those attendees joined the meeting for the first time.
The meeting presentations discussed were given in English and Russian. Simultaneous translation was provided to attendees via the Meetecho platform. The presentations are available in the archives․
